Final outcomes in the two groups. In both groups all final outcomes were significantly better than the baseline values, apart from Cobb degrees for thoracic curves for the Risser cast and thoraco-lumbar curves for the Sforzesco brace.

Scoliosis results: comparison between the groups. There were no real differences in scoliosis results between the two forms of orthosis, apart from sagittal profile outcomes, which were better for the Sforzesco brace.
