Rotational strength weakness in rotations to the concave side in patients with idiopathic scoliosis

Re Rotational strength weakness in rotations to the concave side in patients with idiopathic scoliosis - my research suggests that the muscular weakness is secondary to the postural distortons resulting from abnormal foot motion. We have demonstrated, using Formetric Studies, that proprioceptive insoles reverse the spinal distortions observed in Scoliotic children. The muscular weakness autocorrects as the postural distortions are reversed - See http://www.rothbartsfoot.info/3DFormetrikStudy.html

Prof Brian A Rothbart
